Milly Tseng
About the Artist:
In 2010, Milly Tseng made a conscious decision to re-connect with her passion for painting by becoming involved with local art programs. Despite holding down a full time job, she managed to find time to indulge in her passion for dabbling with paints. For a short time she shared studio space with four other artists, from 2016-17 and then had her own studio at Williams Mill Creative Art Centre, Georgetown, Ontario from 2018-19, now she creates from her home. Mid 2020, she took early retirement from her day job. This move presented her with the opportunity to spend more time in exploring and developing her artistic expression.
Her plan is to achieve a level of comfort working with multiple mediums and styles. Although she paints predominantly with acrylic on canvas, she also enjoys pencil drawing/sketching, painting with oils and water colours. She will likely add more mediums to this list as she experiments with more options and techniques! Her subject matter ranges from floral, nature, still life to abstract.
Over the years she has taken art classes with different artists and watched a lot of YouTube demos. She feels there is no time like Now to do what she has always wanted to do!
